Yeah because Newcastle's back line was immense last time you were in the league led by Coco The Clown.

There's a phrase about glass houses and stones that springs to mind.

If we get James then we've got two keepers that are better than Newcastles :)

Didnt want Bramble like but nevermind

You can't say that really. Krul has played a handful of games and none of them have been at the top level. Gordon went through a patch last year where he was absolutely immense. Not worth the money they paid, but definitely better than Krul at this stage.

Are you saying Harper is a better keeper than David James? And although he hasnt been consistently good Gordons form at the end of last season was as good as any keeper in the premiership

LMFAO i was gonna post all this but they'd be from Laverty's lips wouldnt they haha

Aye i cant wait to see this fucking hopless rapist off the hand that rocks the cradle in a Sunderland top - he wont get much stick at St James tho will he?

I think he may even make Carroll look good in this game with his nerves being shot to bits....

Proven in the premiership for most of the last decade.

You cant say that for a single NUFC player

The only thing proven is that he's fucking shite.

You're clutching at straws trying to find the positives in signing Titus Bramble. I don't think there's another centre back in the Premier League who's made more gaffes, and contrary to mackem belief, they weren't all in a black and white shirt.

na, but i am saying Harper is better than Gordon thus SAFC dont have 2 better keepers than NUFC (if you were to sign James). it probably the position on the park where consistentcy is most important and Gordon struggles with it.

by the way what about this south american full bck you have signed? is he any good and could he look anymore like Jonas? lol

Sunderland have signed Titus Bramble, time to start dealing with it lads instead of riding on the tail coats of Newcaslte's slightest slip up's.

I see the great result just the week before this never got a mention?

Bit of a slip up on Harpers part but I guess that’s what a ‘Pre season friendly’ is designed for :)
