sleep - too much or too little sleep will make you tired. The average amount you need is between 6-8 hours, if you go outside those limits for most people... you'll end up feeling more tired.

water - unless your drinking 8 glasses of water per day, your risking being acutely dehydrated which has big effects on your energy levels.

food - large meals require your body to direct loads of energy and blood towards digesting food.. which is why so many people fall asleep after dinner in the evening, their bodys are simply exhausted from trying to cope with all thise food in one go. Try having 6 meals a day instead of 3, smaller portions of course - this will keep your energy levels topped up during the day so you arent on a constant crash/high cycle.

vitamins and minerals - taking a multivitamin and mineral every day is a good measure in case your lacking something crucial in your diet. But they dont make up for proper nutrition.

exercise - the more out of shape you are, the more lethargic and less energy you'll have. And when i say out of shape i mean from a fitness point of view. You should be doing some kind of exercise which stresses your body (like it was designed to be stressed) for 30 minutes each day... like a fast walk to and from work, or the gym or whatever. If you arent fit "under the bonnet" your probably not functioning properly and at the end of the day your body will let you know by making you feel like crap.

Those are the major issues - if your lacking in any one of those areas then you need to see about those to stop feeling so tired.
