Aye mate, always been interested in the Army & now theres no better time, with my grades & results from the BARB Test I can go into over 80 different positions/trades (incl. Biomedical Scientist ) depending on what trade I take I'll hopefully be starting in either June or Nov as either a Heating & Plumbing Engineer or a Pioneer in The Royal Engineers. Will sort is right out, financially, physically & mentally, I hope

im looking forward to the fucker, just want it to start in Nov so I can have one last summer session before the next few years of carnage

It's crap the number of people who are being made redundant lately. I'm considering myself very lucky, as in the area I work (conveyancing) loads of people are getting laid off, but as I do repossession sales rather than private client work, we're busier than ever.

Sorry to hear about peeps losing their jobs, I think i'm pretty safe (for now) but theyre getting rid of the temps for the pettiest little things. I work for the driving standards agency and it predicted there'll be 200,000 less car tests booked this year, Demand for LGV has dropped loads and the bike tests seem to be up a little, cheaper to run i suppose.

Me ma works for Job Centre plus and theyre cryin out for admin staff as they cant cope with all the claims.

your mams in basicly a very safe job which is quality but with places wanting jobs now they can afford to be VERY picky and find the perfect candidate, so any1 with a blemished record is fucked

not forgetting the shit wages their dishing out coz they no people will take them!
