Straight Swap Shevchenko to Madrid & Ronaldo to Chelsea another risk from Chelsea if they go through with the deal.

Quite a good few weeks for us super mackems! Stokes looks like he could do the business and will hopefully start scoring, edwards will give us the width on the right we have missed all season and supposedly the kid Evans we have from man utd is shit hot!

1 point off the playoffs now too, kin come on!!

whats happening with crouch, bent etc etc..? doesn't seem the toon have been linked with anyone ?

Stokes will play for england imo although probably not while with sunderland ... hes a good player and will be in the prmiership in a couple of years with or more likeley without sunderland . Edwards ive seen a few times and he looks good but needs to learn when to take players on and when to get the ball mobved on .

good signigs ... I wish roeder would hurry up and get fat freds wallet off him !

Stokes won't ever play for england....he's irish.

Keane has not made a bad signing so far which makes a change for sunderland managers! Stokes is defo one for the future!

Are Sunderland in a postion to be signing players for the future tho?

I wouldnt of said so not when its millions and not hundreds of thousands.

Is this Stokes Irish or played for Ireland? Obviously if he has played he cant play for England.

Christian Vieri was Australian yet played for Italy.

He was born in Italy and brought up in Australia.

Born in Bologna, Italy, his family moved to Australia for a period, in the suburb of Wetherill Park. He attended Prairiewood High School in western Sydney. His father Roberto Vieri played for Sydney-based club Marconi Stallions. His brother, Massimiliano Vieri, is also a professional footballer, and was an Australian international in 2004. Vieri played for Marconi Juniors when he was a child but his family soon moved back to Italy.

    Ohh and :

As a result of living in Australia, Vieri has stated that his greatest sporting hero is cricketer Allan Border. He also once claimed that if he "had to do it all over again", he would be a cricketer this time.

Vieri owns two clothing lines, one is "Sweet Years", and is co-owned with Paolo Maldini, and the other is "Baci & Abbracci", co-owned with AC Milan midfielder Cristian Brocchi. Both brands are very popular in Italy at the moment.

As well as being left-footed, Vieri is left-handed. His favorite food was never Italian, but Chinese.

In a rare sporting case, he represented Italy while his brother Max played for Australia. He and his brother, Max, joked about the possibility of becoming the first set of brothers to ever face off against one-another in an international soccer match. Ironically, Italy and Australia ended up playing each other at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, but neither of the Vieri brothers was present in the national squads.

He has had some very high profile relationships, for example those with Fernanda Lessa, Elisabetta Canalis and Melissa Satta.
