ben haim would be a poor signing, theres better quality centre backs than him available to the toon like. We need an experienced proven defender to take control at the back and stabilise the back four. taylor & ramage have potential to become big players, they need an old head alongside them to keep on the right track. Bramble has been linked with fulham, so a centre back must be a main target. Lucas Neill is an experienced international, even though he has a poor disciplinary record, could be the rock newcastle need at the back, he puts himself about and has the leader qualities the toon lack in defence.

Apparently emre's on his way , maybe inter or bayern, but i don't see why he'd want to go back, he starts every game when fit, he's had a decent season so far, fans like him, players seem to like him, it would be a big loss if we lost him, he brings quality to the team and helps parker do his job in the centre, strange if he was sold like.

Darren bent would be a good signing up front, he's young, done very well for under 21's, scores plenty of goals wth the right service, and seems to have a good attitude, he would do well at newcastle.

I'd get rid of Emre. He's shite. He holds on to the ball far too long and ends up losing it, he can't tackle and he can't shoot. Against Man Utd he was absolutely dreadful. Sell him for as much as we can get and get Joey Barton in.

we need to buy where we are weakest and we all know thats in defence , we need a left back a right back and a centre half those should still come as priorities in front of the centre forwards ... basically if we get a decent centre half and a left back well cope with what weve got until the end of the season maybe even sneak a uefa cup spot if we put a decent run together .

Weve got Martins , Dyer , milner , and Sibierski who can do a job up front , Martins is coming into form dyer is looking better every game Sib is solid if unspectacular and milner has been outstanding this season . so id wait until summer for a striker rather than panick buy some flop as we have in the past .

Defenders are a must. I would like to see Bridge come but i dont think thats going to happen.

I dont see why some people are saying go for Wright Phillips when we dont need a right winger?

still a fuckin horrible club. they won them cups chasing the ball round alnwick man.dosn't prove anything apart from the fact newcastle have underachieved in the past 50 or so years.

i'd rather play for west ham than fulham, better club, i reckon curbishley could turn it round with a couple more decent signings like.
