A lot of people care about mixing, it´s a bit like a pro footballer not being able to pass the ball properly, it´s part of being a good dj. If you can´t mix properly then anyone could just get up and put a few records on

But she can mix, she just makes the occasional mistake. And its about more than just mixing, people take things far to seriously! Letting a bad mix ruin, or even effect, ur night is very strange IMO!

I´m not going on about Kerry, I was pointing out to Mr Revel that mixing is an important part of djing, no 2 ways about it

Yup, thats fair enough, if someone fucks up all of there mixes and are blatently shite then they deserve the grief. IMO, Kerry makes up for what she lacks in technical ability she makes up for with her crowd interaction. I would rather go see someone like Kerry than someone who was mixing flawlessly and just stodd staring at the decks.

Agreed. I also like Kerry, she was brilliant when she warmed-up for Lab4. But djs must be able to mix to a certain high degree to be worthy of a place at the top of the ladder.

i kinda agree but id rather have good tunes than someone leaping around like a gimp trying for "crowd interaction" the best crowd interaction is wen the mixing is tight as fuck and the music is matched to the atmosphere... everyones happy :)

i wasnt too impressed with kerrys set i thought it was kinda dull...

haslam and tissera more than made up for it :king:

lets face it hard house is a piece of piss to mix  it hardly takes a huge amount of technical skill. there is no excuse for a professional DJ not to even get the basics right. crowd interaction or not, stop jumping round and do your job
