I was born with a penis, I have the right to stick in anyone wheteher they like it or not - joe cohen quoted badly...

its the same logic, as we live in a society I don't think things are that simple.. I'd get done for rape and the'd get done for racism :D

we are a far less volitole and angry than america and we don't allow free speech...

Canada was built on immigrants and they limit free speech and have no where near as bad a problem as america :D

the old immigrant arguement doesn't work when they're neighbour built on the same foundations is far friendlier :D

Aah cute and cuddly Canadians. What exactly have they achieved in the last .... Ever. Boring people

You're allowed to say you're poetic quote, but you're not allowed to act upon it.
freedom of speech, not freedom of buggery. think you missed the concept there??

Good luck in you're search for someone to accept your offer!

ps not same legal foundations as part of a commonwealth still with a British (although now restricted) governing rule, not a Republic of States.

They've achieved a prosperous and friendly state which is a pleasure to live in..

America with all its glitz and money seems like a living hell... I'd much rather live in a place where I can leave my door unlocked than a place I'm scared to wlak down the street - but each to their own I suppose :D

But thats what your arguement revolves....

we were born with the ability to say whatever we want.

I was born with ability to punch, fuck and spit on anything I want...

However in society certain things aren't acceptable - like me reproducing ;)

Where the hell do you live & in which dimension??
When have you ever gone out and not locked the door behind you? Crime will happen, & if you're in fear of it then stay in your ickle cocoon where it's nice & cosy.
In life we all live in a real world.

Sound's like a comparison to Big City or little village syndrome. grab the smoking jacket and slippers for a cosy night in watching telly, but not the news cos that show's nasty pictures and words!

If you've been to US and still think the way you do then I'll be surprised. Effing amazing place. "Land of Opportunity"

Freedom of speech also includes expression of feelings, emotions... In any society this must have benefits as well as problems.

As in my original quote I said that there is a freedom but you must accept responsibility for what you say, and must be subjectively viewed.

Whether that be a judgement by society or law.

    Getting bored...

    Reproduction of a little Joe?
Maybe not, eh? There's something to agree on.

Sorry I thought you were capable of following the basic flow of the conversation, I was talking about canada, as were you 2 minutes ago - not england... Its an established fact that in Canada many people leave their doors unlocked, as opposed to america where they even have dead bolts on the lounge ;)

You can't dispute this as its been documented in endless documentries from big blockbusters like bowling for colmbine to channel 4 drivel.

How can you not compare Canada and America when talking about moral societies... They are on the same contenant, both are prosperous... yet one is a buzillion times more aggressive and paranoid.

Its a difference in culture, which brings us round to my intial point teh entire American culture and way of life is based on a dated constitution... which is proving to create more and more problems.

If you actually stepped out of disneyworld you'd of realised it wasn't as peachy creamy as you paint... I've been to LA and the oppertunities become far more obvious... my cousins live in studio city hollywood... one of the most affluent areas in LA - it certainly seemed like the land of oppertunity at a galnce... but if you actually took the time to go down town you'd see a far more real world.

Poverty is rife, next to your high rise billion dollar skylines, you have extreme poverty where people are trapped in downwards spirals of cheap labour and welfare... Try telling them this is the land of oppertunity where the best they can do is a cleaning job @ bk.

America is certianly the land of opperutnity if your white and middle class... howver u step outside that circle and you start seeing obstacles.

Another point to remember america's capitalist wealth comes from the exploitation of weaker nations, be it oil in the middle east or sweat shops in the philipines.

Perhaps its americas obsession with what they "percieve" as freedom that got them in the right old mess they are in today.

Ill agree - freedom of speech sounds good, but wielded in the wrong hands, which it is 9 times out of 10 ..... is a bad thing.

    that's more like it

Release that pent up frustration on someone who desrves it!
ps It'll probably be cheap vodka. Stick with the JD and get tabs to sell to the kids outside the shop.

Why stop there, create a web site in your name, create your own cause...

    possibilities are endless..

Freedom to Bare Arms. (not freedom to wear short sleeves)Sometimes there's nothing like using the servants for target shooting.
