it all depends in the reason why your promoting if your in it for the party then why not carry on the reason i started was because it was costing me 200 to 300 quid to travel to nights that play my genres so why not just spend that and put on a party in my home town ?

next time I see hocking I will tell him JAMBON should play resistance and shout it from the roof tops.

I will call in a favour for putting his logo on 5000 flyers

Thing is tho I feel like if we hadn't started booking the people we have, we would have fallen into the same loop of just having the same old local DJ's on time and time again.

I started helping Lee run Vuzz early last year. He fucked it big time around March/April and I ended up doing things on my own. Scott started helping me a couple of months later.

I don't DJ (seriously anyways) so my only motivation for doing this is to a) make some money and b) to put on a good night.

We had to take a step up at some point and I don't think we did it too soon at all in terms of growth of the night.

I think the timing in terms of the popularity of trance might not be good?

In 6 months time trance might be booming again. It might not. If that's the way it goes then things adapt to survive (look at Promise).

We will be OK (now that Lee is well and truly out of the picture  ) but what about trance is the big question?! :p
