The drugs are just part of it...you should know a bit about me by now.

The attitude of peeps today is shit, the music is still there but there are too many wanting to get pissed/recked and go out for a shag, and there are too few nights like promise to give these people another option.

I come from down south and the drugs did get cheaper and the buzz got cheaper too! Many agree with that. The clubs started going down hill and changed venue to smaller ones. More people started drinking with drugs which was very uncommon when I first started clubbing. Coincidence or cause? The attitude up north is crap towards music and clubs like promise, people are not willing to give it a chance. I am very passionate about music and think promise is a great little club but will fail. If you think so deeply about it you will notice the changes that have influenced the decline in attendance etc, society has shifted slightly and peoples norms and values have changed. If we want to get really deep, it all stems from influences further afield like war etc, you may laugh, but subconsciously many huge events effect the way we entertain ourselves and value things. Its all sociologically related and can go on forever, but there is a huge need to satisfy ones needs quickly and cheaply these days that have unfortunately drained off the 'half there' clubbers to the dedicated music maniacs like us!!!
