I get the general impression from this board that it's very much hard house loving which is fine I love hardhouse too, again it has its place, but the people who tend to slag off certain types of music like prog are people who don't give it a chance, so how on earth are they going to beable to appreciate it, it's all down to attitude. I also get the impression people rant and rave for hardhouse in your club, at first I thought this was a pisstake but now I know certain people on here actually want this to go ahead. Promise isn't a hardhouse club and it shouldn't enter it's doors, stop trying to take the club to levels it shouldn't go to! If you want that, go to the clubs that cater for it.

Back to that prog post, I had to laugh how people were comparing prog to hardhouse, how in hell can you do that, they are 2 totally different things!

If they loved hard house so damn much they would travel to the clubs, look beyond your own back yard, it's a big and exciting wonderful world out there

and if hard house was ones and only love for music, I find that quite tragic

i admit i used to be very narrow minded when it came to dance music but recently i have realised that i was only restricting the amount of fun i could have. now anything goes really. very bored of hardhouse tho. still bosh about to it tho if its on.

but house music i am fuckin lovin at the moment.

I'm a big HH fan, there's nothing like that up here, with the exception of some nights @ Sunday Trading.

To me, Promise is the best thing dance music wise in Newcastle. Don't get me wrong, I do like trance but I'd much prefer and enjoy a night at a HH club.

I regularly travel down to Birmingham for Sundissential but that's not always possible due to factors such as work and money. If I was unable to travel, I'd go to Promise as a second best.

I do look forward to the odd night @ Promise every now and again, makes a nice change, plus if I can't make Sundis etc, gives me somewhere to go rather than just stay home. Looking forward to Tisserra and it's always great to see Kerry's name on the posters!

If there was an alternative that played music more to my liking, I'd chose that venue over Promise. Until that happens though, I'll still be going to Promise.
