If bandwagons mean people of a similar opinion to me then I am on the Lee Foster one and I am actively leading the Trophy Twins bandwagon!!

I think the majority of people on this site have an opinion. a lot of them may seem to have the same opinion, and therefore appear as if they are jumping on a bandwagon, but it's still there opinion, whatever it may be.

I for one have not said that i think someone is good just because everyone else says so. if ive said i liked a set, or that i am a great fan of a certain DJ, it is because that is what i think, not what someone else thinks.

Perhaps im nieve, but i would like to think that other people on here have the same freedom of mind - if someone says they like a dj, surely its because they do actually like them?

i dont think the people on here are that weak minded.

(at least i hope so  )

    :D :groovy: :D

I can understand why people would compare the two they are both two dance forms designed to make you dance, just one is far more danceable. I'm not a prog fan as most folks know but I can see its value...

As for the hard house club thing, crasher isn't a techno club, yet they book Mauro...Promise is a trance club at heart but variety is the spice of life, this year will see rob tissera frequent promise... How is this a bad thing in any shape or form? There is no music policy set in stone - rob tissera went down very well when he last played promise.

When eddie was first booked there was huge opposition by a lot of the hardcore trance/prog fans but he's proven to be one of the bigger success stories of last year.

its just funny how one or two people seem to form and opinion then the rest of the board jumps ship

Crashers music policy over recent years has changed more times than crasherkids signature.

Variety is spice of life Joe ;) ............I meant the music! Passion do the same thing with their passion hard nights and I do think they work very well. But if it was upto some people on this board, it would be hardhouse from start to finish, to clubs like Gatecrasher and Promise alike, that's just wrong and should never happen.

It just rewinds me up something cronic how certain hardhouse till I die members of this board only ever go on about hardhouse all the time, it's like promise is a second rate night out for them, like it's a substitute and it will do for a friday night instead.

I've seen how they've knocked djs, trance and progressive djs who have played at your club and it's them who shouldn't return back to the club not the djs they're having a go at.

Some people on this board don't deserve a club like promise

U'r probably rite, people are easily led, but u can rest assured knowing that i will only give someone praise if i personally feel they are good. :)

I just cant see the logic in saying you like someone/something because someone else does?

Oh well, i guess i can consider that a rare personal character strength :D

but if u like hard house through and through then promise is always gong to be a substitute club init, cos its not hard house.

i think the reason why alot of hard house fans go to promise is bacause its the nearest thing they are going to get to hearin hard stuff in newcastle as theres no other club up here that plays that type of music.

i think if there was some opposition to promise then u would find out who the real fans of promise are and who are the people who simply go cos theres nothing else
