The past 3 years now it's got to me, once it hits september i know its coming - during the start of september you still get nice temperatures during the day but at night they drop and the darkness comes in quick.

Rachel - no drugs in 2 years? Or are you on the pill that you take several times in one night (may bank holiday)

Bang on some Avril Lavigne then watch some Eastenders, that should cheer you up.

Failing that watch the news, that always does the trick.

    Re: that S.A.D thing...

    Hi !

    Hope this helps!
SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is a type of winter depression that affects an estimated half a million people every Winter between September and April, in particular during December, January and February.

It is caused by a biochemical imbalance in the hypothalamus due to the shortening of daylight hours and the lack of sunlight in winter.

For many people SAD is a seriously disabling illness, preventing them from functioning normally without continuous medical treatment.

For others, it is a mild but debilitating condition causing discomfort but not severe suffering. We call this subsyndromal SAD or 'winter blues.' ( www.sada.org.uk )

Agreed - smoking it during the week used to affect my work - not drastically, but I wasn't as on the ball as I would have been if I hadn't smoked it - I prefer to keep it to weekends if at all.
