i think congratulations are in order here as well as it's no mean feet running a club night as successful as promise for so long. keep up the good work as i'm sure promise will go from strength to strength over the years to come.

I've just had a fucking incredible night (infact, no lies, it was the best night out I've *ever* had) at Promise's 4th Birthday. I didn't see why you should be thanking US!!

I've only been going to Promise since January and all I can say is thank YOU...the organisers, the promoters, the technical people, the barstaff, the (nice) bouncers, the cloakroom attendant (who regularly gets spit at according to Heather), the people at the door...etc etc etc etc (and of course the DJs that Promise hires)

You shouldn't be thanking us for making Promise what it is. We should be thanking you for organising and running what is well known as one of the best nights out in Newcastle (well to me it is!)



Though...get rid of those toilet attendants please

Right back at u mark mate. and a fukkin huge well done for continuing to put on top class nights like last night! the atmosphere at promise, especially a night like last night, is like no other i've ever known clubbing......love it! i've met so many people thru promise nights and this board and class a lot of them as good friends, even tho i cannot remember half their names

all u promise peeps put a lot of hard work in behind the scenes, incl people like rich and lee and i think u all deserve our thanx.

Promise went down hill when they got rid of the sweet shop! Grave mistake

i used to love the sweetie shop...

the 1 at sankey's was excelletn when we were there to c the chems....they sold loads of dif flavoured lollies & cherry chewits!

lmao, the sweet shop rocked!!...bring it back!!!

Haha there was a lad in the upstairs toilets shouting that for ages... was pissing meself, the attendant didn't kick him out cos he was actually getting him more tips... there was good crack up there for a while so maybe there is hope for toilet banter

I was in there when there was some lad shouting that too! He was loving it...looking at every single bottle of aftershave and showing everyone else

i dont think there's much hope for toilet banter anymore.. promise on the other hand is looking pretty good after fridays performance

I have had fun since i started going last year well done

means we've got to dance with the sweaty mongs or sit at the back and shout at eachother..

Everything I wud have said, has already, so without further a do, I wud just like to add a big 'THANK YOU' to the Promise/Foundation crew for 'everything'! from myself and my family!

ps/ I have not been around long enough to witness this sweet shop, but I must say this sounds like the dogs! Just dont sell those dolly beads, I can see a whole new choas in foundation starting just like back at school!
