    Why not support the local nights that are already putting good techno djs on (Hooked, Freaky Dancing etc) - then maybe they'll be in a position to book some of the djs you rave on about so much, and in the meantime, you might discover that there is a hell of a lot more to techno than just umek, valentino and liebing :wink:

    but these nights cannot afford to lose hundreds of pounds every time because noone turns up

    Can you get me a nonwarped copy of Audion - Just Fucking??? waited months for it to come out and the copy ive got is fucking unplayable

    Linzi - all im saying is that people have tried to put big techno people on in newcastle before and noone turned up so they lost money , its fine for everyone to say 'i want to see dj x' but would they really go and see them if they were on? :)
