Point is the only venue that would be big enough but as many people have said sunderland has no clubbing community.I saw Matt Hardwick play an amazing set at privilege and I was the only person on the dancefloor.Probably less than 30 people came through the door that night which considering how popular he is in Newcastle makes it even worse

i've had a few decent nights at privilage before with you lot, dont think i was at the hardwick one but i recall going to see jules, si patterson, dave pearce and lashes? you where there weren't you?

Really I can't see what you are all humping dusk as a venue, its got two floors but it is still small and depressing in side, it is purely a club dedicated to the wankers of south shields (yes I do go there on the odd occasion) but for the majority it will be full of twats.

All shields had was an atmosphere (if you were from shields) now if you go out on any night other than a saturday you will be hard pushed to find any fucker out.

Also when 3 bars + 1 club is owned by the same two people (with silent partners) which sell the same drinks/play the same music who actually pushed to have chase, which imo was one of the nicer bars in shields, shut for monopolisation when they tried to take over escape is bad crack.

Shields has died a death long live big events.
