There are very strict laws in place of waste dumping... although they can find ways to bend the rules, as my brother who works in wilton told me. In a couple of months time when all the surfers start showing signs of chemical toxication i'll let ya know... damn ghost ships! The problem with saltburn was a sewage outlet pipe out to sea that caused loads of waste to float back to shore, now there is a treatment plant so its no longer a problem. I've been in the sea enough down there and i'm fine!
