    we were supposed to go surfing in the 1st year with our spanish housemates, but i didn't really fancy the idea of falling in a watching a condom float past your face! :eek:

    in reality i have no idea if the sea/beaches round here are clean/minging, i jus assumed they'd be like the streets in boro! :eek: ;)

    @ian... beaches round here are pretty good... tynemouth was clean and my hometown, saltburn, has good surfing too but there has been well documented sewage incidents in the past :eek:
