murray and co will NOT be in charge next season, thats certain. and enxt season i bet we still have 30,000 - 35,000
How do you know that? I bet they are. I think that's very wishful thinking, you've struggled to get that this season haven't you?
It's only what your manager actually said! When you think about it, it's a pretty good plan. Spend fuck all on players, get rid of the ones on good money, then get 3 seasons of parachute payments off the PL!
they wont be. there will be a takeover, you will see. we struggled to pull crowds this season yeah, because of the dire state of the club! however after the change that WILL happen - faith will be restored. not completely, as that will take a while for some people, but a lot will come back.
i dont think he will be given the job full-time. and personally, no i dont. he isn't what we need right now. we need experience.
nah, they wouldn't dare. well, saying that, with the current board.,....it's possible. the sooner they are gone the better
dont even start that one bri or i'll have to get the stats out again to be honest i think north east football has had its soul taken away in recent years... whether that be murray and his lack of ambition and passion at sunderland, shepherd and his lack of patience and also lack of hiring the right man or steve mcclarens lifeless tactics, years of underachievment and alienating a massive proportion of fans at boro. i think its a credit that these clubs still get good gates and produce an atmosphere, regardless of what the stirrers like to say. the fact remains is that football couldnt go on like that, luckily mcclaren has started to show signs of adventure which is only 5 years overdue and too late for many who refuse to return under him... if he doesnt get the england job then i hope next season isnt a return to the old way... newcastle look to be improving once more and could be in luck if the right man is appointed... and the mackems, well, if murray fucks off then you might be ok, if not then 2 outta 3 aint bad
lets face it tho, boro will ALWAYS be second to us and the stinking black and whites. look back over the years, gates of about 6,000?!?! fact is if boro were not in the top flight you would be lucky to get 10,000 - 15,000
we had low gates when we were in the 3rd division and facing liquidation. as any club would including newcastle or sunderland. we filled the stadium to capacity (35,000) when we got relegated under robson and had good gates down the years at ayresome park playing in lower divisions. and we will almost certainly ALWAYS be second to newcastle and sunderland when it comes to gates... why? BECAUSE WE'RE A FAR SMALLER AREA! if you want a nice summary read some of the stuff and my long post in here
