    what you's won like??

    We'll meet again,
    Don't know where,
    Don't know when,
    But I know
    We'll meet again
    Some sunny day

    Keep smiling through
    Just like you
    Always do
    Till the blue skies
    Drive the dark clouds
    Far away

    So will you please
    Say hello
    To the folks
    That I know
    Tell them,
    I won't be long

    They'll be happy to know
That as you saw me go
    I was singing this song

Thats true. However, you just spend as little as possible on as many players as possible, which indicates no ambition or commitment and has put you back another year at least. Its like you had resigned yourselves to relegation without even trying.

but admit tho, with all your money your still shite, id be proper depressed if i were yous, spending all that money just to come mid table

where as with sunderland , we have a wank chairman, who i think wanted us to go down this season so we could get money from the promotion next year, to clear debts, we spend shit money we play shit and end up relegated. you spend more than sunderlands team is worth and play shit and get shit results.

If we should be proper depressed then what the fuck should you's be?

We've got a half decent squad, and some of the performances after Souness left has proved that. If we can get the right manager in, then we could easily be going for the Top 4 again. I'd be happy with that every season, and win a cup, because to compete for the title is virtually impossible with Chelsea and Man U right out in front

im not depressed cos i know the score, we have nowt to spend in a league where alot of players are worth atleast 6.5mil each, some triple that. if we dont have the money we cant compete, you lot tho have splashed out millions and got no where. your millions kept you from relegation thats all.

and theres nowt wrong with sunderland stadium, it might be 40 odd thousand or whatever, but its only a few year old. most other teams dont even have our capacity.

once murray is out things will change, the man has ruined the club.

the fact is every sunderland fan in the country has known (or shud have) that we are down for a LONG time.

we learn to deal with it. it hurts like hell.

what should we do? mope around like its the end of the world? or should we just try and lighten up and wash our hands with this dreadful season and not let it get us down? there is nothing we can do about it - were down, we accept that!

its got fuck all to do with lack of passion and you know it. its all down to how people handle the relegation. they can either mope about and think its the end of the world or they can stay positive and get ready for next season.

not a tough choice really is it ;)

was it lack of ambition or was it playing it safe?

what if we went even more into debt, spent millions and it didnt work, so we still went down?

it's not as easy as people think, you cant just spend millions upon millions - there is ALWAYS a risk involved.

How many will turn up next season though? Do you think loads of fans will just turn there back on the club now? Not just because of how bad your team is, but because of Murray and co? It's deperate times

not really. lets face it, we have both been in same kind of situations a LOT thru our history.

fact is north-east teams* keep on going and the passion always remains, regardless of what division we're in.

    *excluding boro
