Danny Collins is a skillful cunt :king:

Wicked game yesterday like, we showed great character again to get yet another late goal and pick up the win, its just a shame that character was missing when it mattered last sunday..

Micky Chopra and Jones were outstanding IMO, had Wheater and co run ragged for the full game, i lost count how many times they rinsed that ginger smoggie cunt.

How the fuck he is in the england ssquad is beyond me, like i said on here months ago hes not quick enough and couldnt cope with Chopra yesterday never mind Jones.

Good atmosphere as well, was awesome looking round at the end to seeing the whole stadium on there feet up singing.

Doogy - if you were there yesterday mate you will have witnessed why we get so excited over our crowd, tell me the last time you saw a) a full house, and b) a crowd reaction like yesterday at the Riverside.

Bet all the empty seats there generate a wicked atmosphere..

Agreed mate, probably only Kenwyne beats him to player of the season IMO, has been consistently rock solid all year and going forward is getting stronger all the time. Good ball in for our opening goal yesterday as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing what sort of players keano gets in over the summer. Our strong finish should help him attract the sort of players to take the club forward in leaps and bounds

The season isnt over yet and already we are being linked with everyone going, its encouraging what Keane has said about wanting 40 - 50 million to spend on 4 or 5 key players, going for quality over quantity unlike last season when the whole squad needed a complete overhaul to be good enough to compete in the Prem.

We have the base of a decent side there now to build on, though especially defensively lack any depth at all as shown now Evans and Bardsley are injured and having to play players out of position to compensate.

The first signing has to be Jonny Evans, id basically ask SAF to name his price and do whatever it takes to get him here permanently. Could be a key player for us for many years to come IMO.

Hes worth 10 million in this day and age, he not only does his own job but seems to organise our defence well which is a skill Gordon lacks. We could do with a decent defender who can play anywhere on the backline, I think another creative central midfielder and someone who can play on the right too and we definitely need a decent striker but as you say its mainly cover we need

The echo reported yesterday that Keano would like 80 million to spend lol, would love him to get it

Haha, the echo is shocking man some of the shite they report on. Keane has said 2 or 3 times he wants 40 - 50 mill and 80 is just ridiculous!!

I reckon along with Evans we need 2 other defenders, cover for Bardsley and another top quality centre half.

Then we need a right winger as Carlos has only played a handful of games this season, would love to see someone like Pennant brought in though cant see it realistically, id also go in for Jimmy Bullard assuming Fulham go down, and a proven goalscorer to partner Kenwyne, keeping Chopra/Murphy as cover.

On an unrelated note, get this comment from a boro fans forum...

"We are only 2/3 world class signings away from breaking into the top 6 mark my words.

If the rumours that Diego fancies playing infront of a packed Riverside are true then lets look forward to next season.

I'm very optimistic that in 2/3 years we will be playing in the champions league with Gareth leading us onto glory. "

    What a crease.

   I know we've been linked to forlan, and although its speculation I'd love him here, despite his record at Man U being shit

I'd love Bullard up here, hes fucking mint but dont think he would move to the northeast

I think we are 3 or 4 quality signing from being in the top 10 comfortably which would do me fine

We defo need a couple of defenders. I think last weeks game showed that when we had players out. We could do with a good player to go along side Jones aswell like.

It'd be nice getting 80million but I don't think it would happen.

im over the moon were safe, it made my weekend 10 x better.id love to see 40/50 mill get spent on 4 or 5 quality players like. all we need is consistency in the squad with more cover for our defence and someone to boss midfield, and a mint strike partnership, although i reckon jones and chopra would do well if they had plenty of time. roll on next season FTM
