depends what you define as "back in the day"

The massive hed kandi have been at bar beyond for ages. Which is my whole point. People go on about how it was hed kandi who pulled in both clientele and takings at stereo, well, if this were a fact....... how come bar beyond is NEVER mentioned? everyone knows hed kandi moved there, but they decided not to follow as most don't like the beyond set up or the patrons it attracts in it's location. I've had the biggest arguements with my bf about what i've said re: beyond, but it's my opinion and i won't be dictated to by anybody to appease people.

It's so downmarket, i never go to even my boyfriends gigs. The place bores me! It's only main stream of patrons are in lloyds bar til 9 then start working their way up, don't want to make a generalisation but it's not my type of crowd. Although i've had many an interesting chat in the girls toilets about how i should 'get myself dooon to sammy jacks after here' ~ each to their own. But definitely not for me.

Stereo attracts people with a genuine love for the music and a passion for the night, beyond doesn't need hed kandi or infact any cool dj to fill it. It needs to invest in a top of the range kareoke and work with it's strengths i.e the surrounding clientele.

Stereo is bigger than hed kandi, last sunday proved that. the owner of beyond john addamson was even partying down at stereo last sunday! either he wants to check out what a full bar looks like on a sunday and have a wicked night or he's checking out the competition. Either way everyone was loving last sunday........ the crowd were raving all night and the ambience was unreal!

..... the end of the night finishing to all the ravers screaming 'one more tune....'

Everyone was so passionate about stereo being back, ok so they were probably a tad loved up but there was not a single mention of hed who ?????

Hope you can make this sunday everyone!!!!!!!! i'm in the bar early having the best sunday dinner in town, with amazing views over the millenium bridge and baltic....... blah.... blah.... but it's so true!!!

hope you can make it for stereo's first m8 magazine party, working with a summery ibizan vibe......... summer may be over but the party's just begun!!!!!!!!!!
