So because you personally can't see someones logic, you call them stupid?

    Very 'narrow minded' of you!

This isnt no home movie message board, it's populated by clubbers. Yes that means spending most of our lives off our tits dancing away. Most also have jobs. A lot of people here post when they are at work 9 - 5. In our spare time we like to listen to music, find out about new music, share interests with other people about the music and make sure we are always in the no about events. This is along with the other day to day things such as shopping, going out with m8's blah blah.

You, however, dont appear to be here to share your interests in music, nor make a valueable contribution to a conversation and instead to cause aggrivation to a load of people who are simply known to you as 'some people off an internet message board' and to even want to do this kinda tells me that you don't even have the opportunity to spend all day on a message board so instead you pretend you have something better to do whilst hoping someone will hear you blurting out your immature thoughts.

I can tell your life is demanding

It's very easy to suggest that but when is it ever going to happen realistically?

It's a bit extreme really though. Like you said it's easy to be cautious and aware after an event but after things settle down a bit its back to the same old routines and your instinct to be alert and cautious about everyday risks such as crossing the road, watching out for dodgy people late at night and all the things already mentioned plays the primary place. Not to sound disrespectful to all those involved but terrorist attacks like this are far from top of the list on the list of threats and risks we all endure everyday.

I'm not having a go at you either, it's always good to voice an opinion but in a situation like this where everything is carefully planned as secretly as possible over long periods of time by 'professionally' trained people there needs to be something more tactile done to avoid further examples. Not saying keeping alert for these things is a silly idea either, but its just not realistic in the sense that caution taken over the other risks in life will overpower the will to be alert for something that happens very rarely.

I too wonder how ID cards would have prevented this. They won't be happy until our every movement it tracked. Soon GPS tranmitters in our car for 'road charging', ID cards with our DNA - that could quite easily also contain a tracking device,........

Its starting to feel like we're going to be giving up our freedom for alleged safety - is it worth it?

Did anyone watch Crimewatch last night?

That Eastern European woman that got randomly beaten over the head at the bustop, there was another woman stood there saw it happen in front of her. She went to the phone to call the police presumably then got on the bus and disappeared!! lol

And that guy that was assasinated, run down by a 4x4 and then shot in the head and stomach whilst on his moped in the street. The culprits sped off and other road users simply drove round the guy in the middle of the road!!

Talking of seeing things and doing nothing about them....
