    I wouldn't mind if it was people who use the board every now and then, but people are cross posting these on every forum on the fucking internet and it's making my eyes bleed. Can we not have a seperate forum so that the music forum isn't full of a load of self promotional wank from people who don't even use the board for any other reason.

    I don't read them but I can still see them, plus I feel it would be a small digital victory for me if DJX2, Cliffy Burrows etc were never allowed to post in there again.

    It's just not promoting music discussion between people here at all, just a bunch of internet DJ's bumping eachothers threads.

    Have a secret spam forum that only they can look at I say.

    it's a toss up between not being too cliquey and localisted and letting every man and their spammer telling us about every poxy night/internet radio show in the land.

    i have had quiet words with people already that this is a self funding board and if they want to advertise then they should chip in to running costs. However, as we have no fixed rules for this, it's not something we could insist on and there's no real rule of thumb.

    if they take the piss it's different.
