    cheers mate... unfortunately to be honest it was originally Bono's rant, but i hijacked it, filled it out a bit, typed it up and posted it. i'm sure he'd be fine with it. I better ring him and check.

    But isn't that what most rants are? someone, somewhere putting a bee of a subject inside yer bonnet, which then buzzes around until you RANT IT OUT

    There's just been a protest in Durham. A "large group" had gathered on the bridge over the river and were givin it some mad ranting and shouting at Mr Bush and Mr Blair. The guy with the loudspeaker must have shouled himself horse. He was really going for it.

    I observed for a moment whilst eating my chip buttie, untill my eye caught a large man with full on ginger beard in a full on rant, sadly, his tee-shirt was not quite big enough, each time he raised his fist in anger, his buldging spare tyre dropped out and had a wobble.

    I quickly moved on.

    Perhaps a "bite-on", but he looked the greedy type, yer know.

    Wonder what he would of thought if, during his frenzied outcries, I'd walked up, held aloft me chip buttie and said, "you know you want to eat this". The look on his partialy visable face would have been worth it. Ahh, if only...

    it would deffo put a setback on the war and maybe give everyone a chance to make friends. problem would be when the cumdown kicked in!
