DJ will probably be in The Sun talking about his harrowing experience. Then appear on Celebrity Big Brother with: Karen Matthews and Peter Sutcliffe.

Gerrard was seeing some lass, which the son of the said underworld boss took exception to. That underworld boss has now been executed for dodgy drug deals, think the son is locked up.

The charges suggest that three were guilty of breaking the law. That does not mean that the "victim" did not in some way contribute to the incident or it's escalation. I can't really see the three lads just deciding to beat someone up just for the sake of it. Can you?

Its been common knowledge for years. For legal reason the Press weren't allowed to report on it due to various trials.

i can easily see it, it goes on round where I live just about every weekend. Folk sat doing fuck all having a drink & a group of knackers had too much drink & marching powder then before you know it some cunts getting pasted all over the bar.

Ask yourself 1 question, why on Allah's green earth would 1 lad decide to start giving 5 scousers full of drink shit all on his own? If anything it sounds more like they started it, the lad retaliated & ended up getting a licking

The word is that Gerrard asked the DJ to slap some Phil Collins on, the DJ (manc) refused, told him to "fuck off", and then said "The babies not yours" (the usual anti gerrard chant Man U fans sing), then it all kicked off.

Liverpool forums innit. Its all a case of "Well, me Dad's mate is a copper in Southport and apparently....." So much bullshit and rumours flying around on them its untrue. The more popular forums have barred posting on the case cos of legal stuff.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned the lad is innocent until proven guilty. None of us, apart from a few that know the people involved know the facts and most of our opinions are being formed on newspapers and sky sports news. The fact is, unless you were there at the time, you'll not get to find the truth until it goes to court (if it ever does).

    He has been charged tho?

In a statement released at 2.20am, a Merseyside Police spokesman said: "Merseyside Police has charged Steven Gerrard, 28 years, of Formby, Sefton, John Doran, 29, and Ian Smith, 19 years, both from Huyton, Liverpool, with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray following an incident at Bold Street in Southport in the early hours of Monday, December 29. The three men will be appearing at North Sefton Magistrates' Court on January 23."

Aye, being charged is one thing, convicted is another.

IMO he should be locked up for the maximum five years simply for requesting Phil Collins

Barton had loads of previous, like stubbing a cigar out in a teammates eye and punching a young fan on a tour.

Marlon King was arrested for punching a woman in a nightclub couple of weeks back. No public outcry over that. Gerrard is paying for his high profile.

But at the time of the incident... like you say... innocent until proven guilty.

Anyhow im sick of Liverpool fans sticking up for a man who jumped a DJ for not listening to a tune request. Shall i do that to Emery at DS in feb?

I'll leave with one more Gerrard masterpiece. Love this when Alan Smith (if thats his name) blatently realises its a dive but dares not say it is.
