I think he's a good appointment, by far the best Sunderland could have appointed after narrowly avoiding relegation.
Expect some Honduran signings next season :)
    I think he'll do great.

He's a good manager Bruce, Surprised he's gone there like but there's no other Prem clubs he could go to really and he knows he's taken Wigan as far as he can. Mido & Zaki were on loan he lost Palacios last year and Valencia will be off this summer so there was only one way Wigan could go and he knew it.

Sunderland was his only real option and he has the chance to take a struggling club to being comfortable again and futher cement his reputation as a decent boss in the hope a job at a bigger club comes avaliable (The likes of Spurs/Villa/Everton etc) in the next 2-3 years.

It would be funny as fuck seeing Bramble in a Sunderland top after the stick they've gave him though.

Thankfully lasted far less than we'd expected....

    Good luck

Who'd have thought it, Geordie Managing the rudderless ship & Bramble playing in a Mackum top - Priceless.
    (Still )

At least they are consistent with their defensive worldbeaters.

What with dickie ord, lee howey, varga, fanny craddock, mcshane and now bramble. Deathwish?

Apparently he gets his mam to sign his contracts, he's incapable of holding a pen for more than 3.5 seconds.

The Geordies would of loved Steve Bruce in and now they're all of a sudden saying hes shite. He's a Geordie but do you really think he'll purposely try and fuck up his career cos of some championship team he supports? He fucked you's over on numerous occasions with wigan. I doubt he's really that bothered tbh.

I personally think he's a good manager but I think he's good with limited money. We should of got a manager whos proven to be good with loads of money to spend. Bruce could be out of his depth if the amount ellis is putting in the kitty this summer is true.

Hes a good manager, but Im worried about having a geordie as our manager to be honest, its asking for trouble.Especially if he does get Bramble in lol

hes better than sbragia and keane and if we acheive mid table mediocraty with a geordie at the helm then its an even bigger fuck off to newcastle who currently lie adrift in the coca cola championship with a man whos idea of tactics is to let everyone of his players have a game in as little time as possible whn theyre in the relegation zone with a handfull of games left.

    epic fail

If he has 50m to spend its not a great deal as you'll have to pay more to attract players to Sunderland.
He'll be nothing but good for ya's.
