the last 'organised' shambles i played at locally there was a big box of flyers behind the bar and the "promoter" was standing looking lost in the empty room (waiting for his go of the decks) - i even had to prompt him to go out on the street and talk to some people! you're kidding me right? thats promoting? 10 people in the room looking bored? fuck that.

its the same with agents nowadays, they want you to do all the legwork finding gigs and they want to take a cut to say you're on their books. fucking pathetic. its a disgusting mess and the kids that dont have the balls to man up and charge for gigs are being played as much as they want to play

for once this year i have to agree with your statement.

also other coments reguards dj's selling the tixs , i have been informed to do this for a event mid year , fuck that .
