    Somehow i think you would react differently if it actually happened.

    How about if it happened to your mum or dad, or grandma?


    What if the government decided to stick cameras in peoples homes so they could monitor against 'terrorist activities' - sounds stupid eh, but 100 years ago im sure my great grandma would have laughed at the idea that cctv cameras would watch everyone on the streets 24 hours a day.

    i'll agree that this could well happen down the line when the other cameras become acceptable by everyone. But to be honest cameras in homes would be an invasion of human rights so i'm not sure they could do it even if they wanted to.

    but they're talking about scrapping the human rights act in order to make our own version of it... which could easily be tweaked to allow for this like this if they wanted to...

    i wasn't arguing that, i was just saying stuff changes all the time, and hasn't changed anymore in this decade than it has in any other.

    your right, they could change it. But letting people have no privacy what so ever just isn't feasible, people wouldn't be able to have sex, shower because of fear of being watched by someone. It would just never happen.
