its all up to the cop that pulls u, if its a car anyways. up to 95mph in a 70 the copper has the option to issue an on the spot fine which is 3points and £60 fine. anythin over 95 and it must go to court. it'll then be a minimum of 6 points then and a hefty fine.

if ya pulled on the motorway by a car it all depends on the type of car your drivin, the quality of your drivin at speeds, how you treat the officer and also what kinda mood he's in.

    :screw:

Just a bit harsh people jumping down his throat about it when you know that most of the people having a go at him will have broken the law at some point :p

thats what i mean, its happened to me too. didn't get let off but after follwing me for 4 miles, 1 of them was done in 26 seconds, a copper wrote to the court asking for leniency. he'd clocked me at over 130mph but only did me for 102mph coz he thought my driving was good at that speed :D told the court that if it were up to him i could drive like that on the motorway all the time.

should be the same as germany's autobhans(sp) anyways, now that would be fun :D :p

yeah my dad couldn't live without his and he's only in this country for 4/5 months of the year!

don't really do enough motorway driving to justify one at the moment. once i move away and am driving back and forth to the northeast more will definately have to pick me one up.

i don't give a shit to be honest, most of them say one thing on here and act totally differently in real life. i imagine all the people who have griefed you about a minor speeding offence have commited just as many or in some cases more serious offences during their lives.

hypocrisy stinks, got no time for those who preach but don't follow through on their words. ;)

can i just say for all the do-gooders that motorway speedin is, imho, a hell of a lot different than speeding in a 30 or 40 mph zone. i'll be the first to admit that i speed on the motorway however watch my speed in built up areas. there's a big difference.

exactly, i'm not an idiot that slams his nova round housing estates on two wheels. i just find driving in a straight line on an open road at 70mph restrictive. ;)
