Disappointed by the defecit of the result. They deserved to win, but not by 4. I have no complaints about the side, they've overcome everything that was thrown at them in previous rounds, and asking it again against a very strong Seville side was one game too far in my opinion. Anyway, my heads held high. Had Viduka's shot went in we could have had a completely different result. Well done Seville, they were the better side on the night. we were awful to be honest and the better team clearly won, although 4-0 was too harsh. we had a couple of good chances and one penalty appeal whereas they're attacking flair was evident all match... i think some of the tactical choices were a little naive, lets hope mcclaren learns because international football is a lot less forgiving. still, at least WE WERE THERE.

yeah, ok it should have been a pen but most of the boro players were shocking, schwarzer, southgate, frank c, morrison, rochenmach, downing, boeteng, viduka and jfh, played soo poor, and sevilla's only attacking option which cause boro problems all night was cross the ball into the six yard box, and close boro down in possestion!!!
rochen was the only player that actually did anything...defence and the majority of midfield did fuck all which ment the strikers had little chance of getting the ball..cant really blame jfh and viduka.
