Sober / Light 'Clubbing'

If am gonna go out then am just gonna get fucking smashed, none of this slightly wrecked or little wrecked - were talking a full on session with loads of banter, loads of laughs then leavin somewhere you went a day and a half later

I have tried for years to go out and not do owt but there' just nee point, i take me hat off to those that can and enjoy it but its just not for me nor any of me mates really

you know when you're at work n that, can you concentrate properly? i seemed to get noticeable concentration problems especially the weeks after taking pills, and the first few days i was a waste of money to the employer.

i never used to go overboard either, 2-4 pills in a night when i did it, about once or twice a month.

you often have big benders*!

anyone else found this? clarki read somewhere that one pill can 'fuck you up' in that sense for about 6 months, but i can't find the source or owt on the net.. i read something the other day that said persistant users scored considerably lower on intelligence tests than everyone else who didn't take them at all.. but maybe they were thick bastards anyway and got unlucky

Suppose you just get used to it tho and i used to be really shit and just hide for days/weeks after a night out cos i couldnt face owt, then when i did go out i realised that every fucker else where i went too was more or les same

I know what you mean about the work thing, i hate it me and if i could change it it would be that cos there's nowt worse

im normally okay now after a night out, like this weekend was one of the heaviest ive had for a while, and even tho was tired today still did okay at work. think you do just get used to it really, it used to really affect me when i did it every weekend, now i tend to do one week going out, one a bit quieter, and i find im fine most of the time. i suppose it affects different people in different ways though!!

then again one lad i work with went out last friday night and woke up on the ferry to amsterdam, and couldnt remember a thing!!! he came back monday after totally hammering it all weekend over there, came back to work tuesday and collapsed in the middle of the floor. hes totally fine now, though did make me think a bit about what i do on a weekend, seeing him collapse like that

i just go dumb as shit after a hard weekend lol, can never really take in what people are saying to me.
i dont get wrecked half as much as i used to, but still love having a laugh now n then like at the radio 1 event, that was class it all got a bit samey for me after a while, constantly feeling like crap last year, now i feel fine

I've had a bad experiences from drugs, which makes me joke in my previous posts i'm in the safe as fuck gang, and makes me adore this type of conversation lol because not funny you get trapped in it .. (like JK once said "your confess story" - then thats celebs being booted off to rehab) ...but yeh i get it does affect your consentration Nass.
It was so bad for me that after not just after being off them through that week they/them lol had fucked me long term... basically confusion hit... you cant have a chat with ya mates anymore like when everything was like "you dont take pills.. eh? to them not with it ....yada yada yada- no names included!

later ... thinking get back on my bike with the pills.......they did'nt work anymore....... i was just poooof gone from the scene..... cainer nee more... fucking deverstation really tbh.

i sometimes worry that il forget important stuff at uni and in my exams or wotever but so far it hasnt happened or effected any wok ive done.

If I'm DJing I'm always sober as I have to drive. As for clubbing I'm not so much into the Gary Ablets anymore, just beer and vodka sorts me out.
