the sun and itv man, full of shit, cameron side stepped questions gave a skirting of the tory manifesto with hardly any convincing statements or concrete ideas to back up his jargon.

I was monitoring the itv website last night all the way through the debate and iit finished with clegg at roughly 60%, brown at 30% and cameron just over 10% in favour of, so no idea where there getting this bullshit from that cameron blitzed it as on itv this morning.

I say leave labour to clean up there mess, after what the torys done in the past I wouldn't trust them with a block of cheese.

If all the people who say there is no point voting Lib Dem is pointless actually voted for them they'd probably get in.

I'm in two minds as to weather to vote Lib Dem who seem to have the best policies of the lot and probably deserve a chance to show us what they will do if they get in power or if to just go ans spoil my vote and show that i was willing to vote but all three parties will and probably are just as bad as each other.

Will probably vote Lib Dem as like i said their policies just slightly see better than the rest. I d1don't want the Tories to get in power but i don't go with the notion of a vote for Lib Dem is a wasted vote and basically a vote to not stopping the Tories getting in.

what makes you think Labour will clean up their mistakes? if they get in again they will take it as a sign that we liked what they did.

i shall be voting Liberal again like i have done all my life, since i am a liberal thinking person.

I hate the Tories whose basic philosophy is feed the rich by nicking off the poor and who will trash all the services that Labour have spent the last decade trying to build up. Labour are basically an authoritarian party who believe that 'society' (ie them) have a right to tell me how to live my life and want the state to watch my every move to see i don't do anything they disaprove of. not to mention being scared of big business, america, rupert murdoch and the daily fucking mail.

every other country has a right wing party for people who are fearful of change and a leftwing party who are hopeful about it.
our tragedy is that we have one rightwing party and two leftwing parties so the vote is always split. Britain is a naturally liberal country like Holland but the voting system is rigged so the Tories keep getting in. The whole party system stinks but given it is like it is all you can do is vote the way your beliefs dictate.

I am always puzzled by people who say this. Must hark back to those impacted by the closure of the mines - which were after all a failing business and needed to be closed.

I can say that I have never been as wealthy as I have under a labour government - so much so that I think they might get my vote this time, for the first time ever

The way i see it our choice is between:

- authoritarian right
- authoritarian left
- liberal (but not that liberal) left

However i am not that sure we are a naturally liberal country. I think that if you associate with certain people, or spend too long on the Guardian website (as i am probably guilty of) you can certainly believe that. But sadly if you stand back from it, i think 75% of people you come accross are about as liberal as George Bush.

Just to add though, while ive used the word 'left' on two of the parties, they arent actually that left, just left of the Tories.

the whole country is wealthier than it was in 1997 and twice as wealthy as it as in 1980. what has happened is that the lions share has gone to those who already had the most to start with. And most of them don't pay any tax. especially those who own the right wing press and constantly bang on about benefit scroungers and immigrants.

The tories are historically the party of the rich since political parties started. Those who own everything are naturally supporters of conservative policies ie they want to conserve what they got and preserve the status quo.

Liberals usually want to change things. if you are right wing you will not want to.

Then there is the fascist right wing (typically BNP though some are in the tory party) who support the rule of the strong and powerful, tend to look for 'strong' leaders and look for scapegoats to blame for society's ills (typically immigrants but also Jews or Muslims or any other group that can be marked out as different and therefore alien and unworthy of being part of 'our gang')

and the mines were not a failing business they were closed deliberately by a woman who saw them as enemies of the state. ie her and her establishment mates.
And wether you are rich or poor has nothing to do with the party's philosophies

The Tories look to be carrying the same ideas and visions they had when they were last in charge, and the country was not in good shape when they lost control.... so will definatly not be voting for them. Thing is i think..... is that people who generally dont follow politics are simply gonna vote for Cameron because of his whole demeanour in front of the camera / on tele / in the media etc etc etc, without taking a good look at what hes actually promising (which really isnt a great deal). For me, They are definatly in favour of the better off.

I quite like Clegg and the way hes reinvented the Liberal's, but im sticking with Labour as i think they will give the country a much stronger outlook then the Tories. People who say it cant get any worse that is now? With Cameron elected i think that may well be the case.

BNP......gets my vote........ cant wait for the polling stations to open
