Can you recommend anywhere to park nearby?

I usually get the train... parking can be risky... firstly because the area around the ground is a mess and secondly its scally infested (my flatmates car was broken into about a month ago during a match). There are small roads in walking distance around the ground that you can get down but these often fill up quickly. Best bet imo is to get there quite early and park in town. One of the other boro fans on here might have a better idea... spiral? confuzzled? :)

You cant park at the ground unless you have a pass. Parking it on the routes to the ground is the best bet but as Smog said they fill up quickly and you'll b walking with all the Boro fans

Tho try heading to the Navigation for a pint b4 hand ;)

    cheers

i'm going with a mate and we have rough directions into town so we'll probably park in town somewhere and follow the crowd.

Enjoy the game, but not too much ;)

 i park in the carpark A outside the main stand, wouldn't dare leave my car anywhere else near the ground!

your best best on a matchday is the multistory zetland, or the UGC cinemas car park and then walk through the A66 underpass to the ground. no idea on the prices though, or what time either carpark shuts though.

game was ok, lack of goalmouth action at both ends. We seemed to lack a cutting edge despite having most of the possession in the game. Just lacked that final ball, guess partially a credit to Southgate and Ehiogu who defended well. I counted that you had 3 clear chances - the goal, the pen and one other in between. We had a couple but mainly it was long-range shots.

Thing was the goal came from when we nearly scored, Keane rolled the ball along the 6-yard line, Defoe just missed tapping it in and it looked like Anderton was gonna get there until Quedrue cleared it for a throw. And the lino gave it to you lot  From which you broke and scored. 1-0 to the lino

Disappointed but roll on Sunday and the geordies at home

first half was dull as hell, much improved in the second though. still lacking a clinical finisher and when maccarone came on was very poor.
