I dont know, I'm not saying they evolved or they didn't evolve... I'm merely saying that there is far to little evidence to use them as a "wicked example of evolution"

It would be a bit of a wasted trip without your opposable thumbs, you'd keep dropping the weights on your perfectly formed feet that are well made for running and such like.

Eh? You gave me some half baked creationist nonsense about 'earliest forms of life having perfectly formed eyes', and how could evolution possible have caused this?!

I gave you evidence that showed that this was demonstrably ignorant, as there is well categorised life before this with less well formed eyes, exactly as the rational Darwinist predicts. :D

My evidence came from fossils; you said fossils were 'submittable evidence' for your theory. :D

Thus, your argument has been eviscerated like every other creationist rant in all of history :D

Darwinish remains the best explanation ever concieved for the existence of complex life. If you want to convince me and Darwin otherwise, go and find an organ that could not possibly have been formed in small successive steps - this actualyl would be evidence against evolution. But if you do find some, don't tell me, send it to Nature, and await your Nobel prize. ;)

I'll find out for myself from the news, but I shan't be holding my breath.

andy french william brought up eyes and you went onto say "eyes were a wicked example of evolution"... I asked you to provide evidence for this claim stating that eyes appeared at around the same time as animals... To make a claim that eyes are a wicked example of evolution one would think you'd be able to supply the evidence.

Instead you provided a theory consisting entirely of guess work.....

as if this is still going on!!!

but in reality, science isn't a faith, and don't you think todays theorists have a better understanding of how the world was created, than back in the day when they thought the world was flat?

todays theorists have no idea how the universe (not world) started and are actually stating the same thing that the jews were stating pre-flat world theory ;)

we have no clue how the universe came into existence... its all speculation.

it's not true. there are clues. what there isn't is proof.

That's not exactly true. Haven't scientists pinpointed the beginning to within something like 0.0000000000000000000000001 seconds of it happening?

all we know the universe is expanding, how on earth is that evidence of how it came into existence?

Thats like observing a ball rolling down the street... you can calculate all manner of things from direction to speed, what you cannot calculate is what made the ball roll in the first place.... y'get me?

haha what does background radiation have to do with how the universe came into existence... thats like saying I can feel the wind from the ball so I know how it started rolling?!?!?!?

WE HAVE NO CLUE HOW THE UNIVERSE CAME INTO EXISTENCE!!!!

because I have faith in the Tanakh, I "believe" that there is evidence that validates all within as the truth... this has nothing to do with scientific discoveries (which have been catching up with the old t for millenia).

we don't know what happened before the big bang, but we know what happened immediately after it happened. thats all we can know FOR SURE ... at the moment, anyway.

    Aye righto

How old is the world by your scriptures reckoning? How long have humans been on it? Was the whole world really flooded? ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC ETC

I find it genuinly interesting, if only from a psychological point of view, that as an otherwise rational person you can on the one hand answer some scientific questions with 'not enough evidence!' (when there's loads) and on the other 'I don't need any evidence!' when it comes to your faith's opinion on an answer to a scientific question.

Amazing what religion will do to people.
