digital has all the elements of a top club - but somewhow, for me, it just misses the mark - i find i can't relax in there and get a bit lost, wandering around, looking for somewhere to sit, relax and chat - it can sometimes, feel a bit soul-less or cold

Most times i've been, it hasn't been bad and i've really enjoyed myself - the sasha/satoshi night and jon carter nights where scot did an AMAZING warmup - but i dunno... i look forward to going - but when i get there... i dunno. it's hard to describe.

Loving the Cosmic Ballrooms at the moment though - well priced booze too - take note Digital ;)

as for the Foundation/Digital arguement - i think shindig had outgrown Foundation and it was right to move on, it needs to keep things interesting

Promise @ Foundation is a different kettle of fish!

i've often wondered how the rates of use of both has changed over the past 2 years.. people seem to be coming off pills a bit but it's hard to tell whether i've just got my wits about me more because i tend not to have any drugs when i'm out these days.

the trouble with me is i can't seem to find a drink to stick to that will keep me going long enough to last me the night and always end up bailing out early (about 2:30 when the head DJ is playing) because i/someone in my group has had enough to drink and feels ill..

can someone help me out in the drinks department? how do drinkers pace themselves and have a good night?

to behonest i dont think ecstasy use has dropped off much if at all i think its just cocaine use has skyrocketed, and the honest fact is the majority of people when on cocaine become bellends

i do agree more people are also getting really pissed and going to clubs with or without drugs and some people just shouldn't drink more than a certain amount because they become absolute arseholes and ruin things for everyone else, I don't mean a just bit daft but proper aggressive

as for only drinking all night , I find pints (or bottles are better for staggering the booze intake) before you get to the club then a couple of vodka redbulls when you get there, then owt you like after that keeps me going fine well into the next morning:cool2:

Everyone always complains about the amount of arseholes there is in digital now and to be honest....Ive never ever really noticed the other people Im there with apart from my mates, perhaps this is what is lacking though? I don't connect with the other clubbers in there which usually is one of the best parts of the night.

Although I have noticed some of the girls are dickheads in there especially in the toilets. Sorry but remind me again why you are looking me up and down when your outfit consists of some fucking shit fake leather boots and a hideous tartan skirt? It is no criticism to the club just something I have noticed.

but the thing with coke is people get more and more into it and start doing more and more and eventually become proper coke heads who are proper arrogant cunts, thinking it's dead classy and shit and they are cool as fuck:(

i have only been to digital twice, first time was for sasha and i struggled to get into it because it was too crammed, which meant it got too hot and you could barely dance. When i went for eric prydz though i had a fantastic time and the crowd seemed totally up for it. I've never been one to wonder round a club i normally just find my spot and dance all night so i'm not too arsed about the layout, and the soundsystems amazing, at foundation by 3oclock there was no bass, now the musics clear till the end

Have you had a bad experience off it or something?

I don't think people have a couple of lines of snoot in the toilets is a massive contribution to the fact digital is swarmed by sweaty big market kebab lovers greasing around the dancefloor.

agreed, at first a coke user doesn't seem such a bad person.. i find it amusing watching them scrambling into the toilet every 30 minutes on cue coming out with a dribbling nose though

n'ah just met loads of wanker cokeheads over the years and it along with other recreational drug use killed a close friend of mine:(

bigg market charvers are just as bad but in a different way, they'll start on you, proper coke fiends just treat people like shit and spoil the atmosphere
