    i understand that big venues need big names, and the roger/2many djs comment was just spleen venting really but i am more pissed off with the whole "big changes ahoy!" attitute pre-boycott, and the lack of change since.

    i believe that the nights that have built up excellent reputations ('dig, wax:eek:n, turbulence, etc..) will suffer at the hands of a "buy em cheap stack em high" mentality. did digital really need the money so badly that the only option was the hanger? they could've just not opened the doors, saved money and reputation.... i dunno.

    to shindig i am sorry if i come across as a mardy child but hey, if i don't like it and can't change it i can only avoid it. this was the mantra only a few weeks ago was it not?

    aye well the changes that were promised are happening.. after 2 years of wrangling with Utopian Leisure there has been a hell of a lot of staff/office and other urgent internal and legal issue to contend with.. most are out the way and now they can focus on the jobs in hand..

    Garnier will be immense.. as will the 2 end of Sept gigs too :)

    Can't wait to find out when Garnier's on. I've already booked my pass out with the wife. And yes, it has come to that these days :( :lol:

    If one of the September bookings is who I think it may be, then I'll be gutted 'cos I'm away in Ibiza for the closing parties.

    Caught Garnier twice; once in Space a few yr back and last Sept at Circus. He is one sh*t hot dj. Great booking this. Ps that mix that he did (I still have it on my ipod) live in Amsterdam is awesome.
