    I thought they were? it's part of the course they do to get there badge along with 1st aid etc... ?

    not a FACT that mate.

    Bouncers are allowed to search you - as long as you agree to it. FACT.

    it comes against the R.O.A.R rule - if you refuse a search, you dont get again. simple as that.

    the SIA course does searching and that within the course, and alot of minor places in shields have started doing random searchs upon entry.

    They are not!

    They can ask YOU to empty your pockets etc. But not allowed to physically search you

    First Aid is a different couse mate, not covered with the Door Supervisors course.

    A good club would let you in if they found only 1 pill on you. They know most of the people in there are taking stuff anyway, it's the dealers that they should be bothered about.

    I got caught down Sankeys with 5 pills in me wallet,he took them off me and asked if that's all I had, then he let me go in. :)

    lol - no, bouncers are allowed to search you if you give your consent, and it's part of the standard conditions of entry for any club that has a clue that you give your consent to be searched if you want to enter the club.

    you can always refuse to be searched, but you need to be turning round and walking back out of the door if you do.

    FACT

    it's also covered by the ROAR bit... right of admission reserved, meaning the management reserves the right to refuse entry... ie no search no entry if they decide they want to search you.
