Shay Given to leave NUFC?

yeah he did, was around 99/00 i think - when he was playing his best football for us. Got in a couple of years ago as well though i didn't think he'd played as well that time.

Van Der Sar and Given are the best in the country, very few blunders from these two.

the chelsea keepers "OK", Chech is good but that wop one is clanger prone, weak on crosses but he is a good stopper.


Bottom line is Given is too good for the Scum and should leave or he will end up a miserable loser like Shearer waiting for them to win a bean

schwarzer is still a shocking kicker, and has always lacked confidence with the backpass. it is for this reason why i'm fairly certain he won't go to either man utd or arsenal in january.

he is a good goalkeeper who is prone to making howlers, and in my opinion both arsenal and man utd already have 'good' keepers who are prone to mistakes.

there are no keepers playing in the premier league who are exceptional. have to say i can't think of anyone apart from buffon who i rate as exceptional? any other suggestions?

Also Pike stop being nasty to Alan, just because Brady didnt make it upto 25 games & Gabbers was lower league striker who had few good years, there is no need to be bitter towards a striker who scored more goals than the 2 have played games.

I would say Givens height is also a weakness

True but he can get down to the low shots easier. As for Cech Van Der Sar, and Hislop they woukld prefer the high shots.
