When he first got a run in the side last season he seemed quite good, very vocal, which is a change for a Newcastle centre half. This season though he has seemed short of confidence, and hasn't had the best of games recently. Is he likely to play in front of the back four? If so it is a a positon he has never played in, so another thing to be worried about. I don't actually think he is going to start anymore in anycase though lol.

Good Luck for tomorrow BTW!! :D I like to see all the Home Nations in the finals of major tournaments, plus the FAI!

interesting tho, bertie vogts said he felt more scotish than fans of the old firm, the celts had irish flags, and the gers had union flags, hes asking for more scotishness from the old firm.

    lol

Believe me when I say EVERY Scottish Celtic or Rangers fan I know was cheering on Scotland on Sat and always does. Just because were not at all the games with our 'See you Jimmy' hats on doesn't mean we don't care.

I think he has been trying provoke more pride in the team and support. It's working.

i respect the man, der terrier is continuing scotlands long tradition of being there or there abouts at international tournaments, with arguably scotlands poorest pool of players for some time.

Without doubt, though there were two players on Sat (McFadden & Fletcher) that were taking on good defenders and beating them easily, something that we haven't seen for years in a Scotland shirt.

    There is some hope.
