Aye that will be the 12" EP which someones talking about ! Scruf - The album is good, its basicallly Sasha and his new direction really isnt it - i had only seen this lass who gave it to me for summit like 10 mins and that nigth she dropped it off when i was oot ! I dont know much about that sort of music really but i do like it !
thats the vinyl. they are all pretty good i reckon. the album is good i think. A seemless soundscape type affair....
i bought involver a few days ago and have given it a few good listens now and i've found the following: A.) It's not mindblowing, but as far as prog goes, its pretty decent, particularly the trax that have that slight tinge of electro, they are actually quite class. b.) I liked some of the vocal bits in involver, but there were vocals on pretty much every track, which i wasnt very fond of. c.) the re-working of the felix da housecat tune is bollocks, and it drags on for ages. d.) its a good mix and match of four to the floor and breakbeat, nicely balanced. I'm not a sasha purist so i'm sure some folk will disagree with what i've said. But then again, i like my prog a bit tougher and tribal, lawler-esque.
only tune ive heard is his mix of unkle - in a state when he played it at shindig, sounded mint on the nite, am goin to buy it when i get some cash, heard it was full of breaks tunes???? should be good anyway, sure it'll educate rather than entertain
Involver is immense - It will stand the test of time for sure, Just like every other Global Underground release.
he's done it in the same way pvd did tpod aint he! have you got it?i'm too skint to buy it at the moment but wanna hear!
Yeah i meant the vinyl sampler, presumed you'd all realise that. I don't think it's anything too amazing, smile is good though.
