shindig has always had a certain element of prog: hernan cattaneo futureshock steve lawler danny howells and the remixes and productions of lexicon ave have always been dark and proggy, so i aint that surprised really! as long as they keep a good balance of prog, tribal and funky, il be happy, and im sure they will
NICE ONE!!!!, this bloke is truely amazing!!!!, carnt wait to see him at the colours fest!!!!, u goin??????????
I'd go to see Sasha @ Shindig if it happened, but aint he a little off the usual policy? Shindig can fuck off booking so many prog DJs like. All the big bookings now are people like Sander K, Digweed, Burridge, etc. Prog is the most boring thing you can possibly listen to all night in a club. Deep Dish, I may have to miss @ Shindig, due to the Ibiza ressie, but I'll defo be seein em out there
true prog is gud but it bores the hell out of me when it's on all nite in a club. when promise use to play it all the time it went dead
Yeah exactly. Can sorta say I'm a Prog DJ too. Moving a hell of a lot into more housey stuff as of late though. I can't listen to a full night of prog though, bores me shitless. Gota do something interesting like go tribal, or housey, or something!
Exactly my feelings too, for the last 6 months I've been bored with progressive so trying to use more different genre's. Firstly I got into breakbeat, then tribally house and tech-house, now I'm buying (or at least would be if I had any cash) tribally techno stuff. Bit of a bastard to find though! Theres still a lot of good progressive stuff coming out and I'll still be playing it, but using all genre's in one set (obviously it has to be in the right way) will hopefully keep people interested.
