Probably, and I can guarantee that you'll find it almost impossible to find anyone to move in. I'd have another read through the fine print if I were you.
you wont be allowed to make any alterations. you can put up posters and thats about it (aslong as you use white-tac not blue-tac)
bit of a highjack, but whats that mad pub called, the one underneath those 50s tower blocks with a strange 70s feel to it. very unusual. popular with the smellier students clientelle
aye i think mr lynch used to be called the arches... the one near spice, valley junction and the carriage.
You got there justb efore I did, so at least you're not the only pedant. Bakc to the original topic, halls are shit. Get a student house.
I got banned from Claude Gibb and Glenamara for the whole of my second year, an achievment to be proud of I feel Halls are cack but I wouldn't have lived anywhere else in first year the social scene is second to none and its the best way to meet people.. just stick with it!
sandyford is a good place to live, very quiete but very close to town... heaton is pretty good aswell, loads of house parties etc going on round there.
The flats I looked at in Sandyford were modelled exactly the same as the ones in heaton but for £10 more, not really much point especially when I could use that £10 a week for bus fares/metros.
Next month, dickhead. And halls are shit for the simple fact that they're all fucking horrible rooms, communal bathrooms, etc, etc. Plus I've stayed in Castle Leazes, and that was bad enough to put me off halls for life...
