Cos I save it or spend it on rubbish!

    Last month I saved £400.

No matter how much money you earn, you always spend it.

 Tell me about it, 2 years ago if you told me I'd be coming out with £1700 a month I'd of thought I'd be rich. Sadly it is quite the opposite. I'm earning double I was then but seem to have the same amount of money to spare. :spangled:

This isn't the case for everyone who goes to uni, but I agree with you that uni can be a waste of time and money.

Some people have ambitions of being in a job that interests them though, so they need to go to uni in order to get into one of these jobs. If you're interested in being a doctor you can't just buy a surgery and start practising medicine off ya own back.

the chances of somebody studying and then becoming a doctor are pretty slim from my experiences, most people will end up with massive student debts and no white coat.

From my experiences most businesses go under within the first couple of years.

    Everything is a gamble mate.

I personally couldn't of went to uni and lived like a bum for years, but some people are ok with living like that.

 Same here, the idea of uni never appealed to me. Although my wage at the moment isn't great, I've ended up doing something I enjoy and go to college at the same time to work my way up. Fuck uni!

It can work out better going straight into work, aslong as you're determined to progress in your career you can get far without going to uni full time. Get a job and get experience which is more important than qualifications, then do some part time college work in your free time. :)
