Sainsburys just got cained!

    I wouldn't be surprised if Sainsburys did this to get a shit load of people signed up to there website and made aware it exists.:eek: I'm sure they havent lost that much seeing as though no one can get deliveries. It would work out cheaper than advertising.

    well they can just choose not to deliver i guess. But they sure as hell cant charge more than what is stated on my order. My emails have the price discounted.

    there was a thing on the tv about this yesterday and your right :up: this is the way that shops are going about it this year, instead of having bigger sales for everyone to enjoy they are only attracting particular types of customer. means your spending money in a shop, which some of you may never do. good slaes technique if you ask me

    IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT YOUR GROCERY ORDER

    Dear Mr Barber,

    We have noticed that the order you have placed with
    us contains multiple voucher discount codes. This
    is against the terms and conditions stated on the
    actual vouchers and therefore we cannot honour your
    order in its current form. We are sorry that you
    have been a victim of this online scam. We know
    that this will be disappointing for you but the
    e-mail that has been circulated with these voucher
    codes is not a genuine Sainsbury's e-mail.

    As a gesture of goodwill we have decided to honour
    one voucher if you would like to proceed with your
    order. If this is the case please go onto the
    website at www.sainsburys.co.uk and use the
    'amend order' option to remove all but ONE voucher.
    Please do this by 10pm on Thursday 14th December.

    If you have not amended your order by 10pm on
    Thursday 14th December we will assume that you do
    not want to go ahead with your order and we will
    cancel it. We need to act quickly, not least to
    ensure that delivery slots are available for many
    customers who are trying to book delivery slots
    for their Christmas shopping.

    If you need further advice please contact our Customer
    Contact Centre on 0845 301 2020.

    So in response I have emailed Sainsbury's the following;

    Please delete my account. As a loyal customer I decided to try your online sevice with the incentive of these vouchers. I am angry and disapointed that I have been caught up in an email scam (more than likley a publicity stunt by yourselves).

    I will never use Sainsbury's again both in store and online. I trust this is "pukka" with you.
