Russel Brand/Jonathan Ross Scandal!

And now (188) people are moaning to the BBC about Clarkson making a comment about Lorry Drivers killing Prostitutes.

People are so bloody sensitive.

It's exactly the sort of provocative humour he's been using for ages and only because he made the comment at the arse end of the Ross/Brand 'scandal' are more people hopping on the 'complaints' bandwagon.

The BBC seems to have become the new Channel 4 of the day.

i bet it's 1000's by the end of the week once all the daily mail readers see it. everyone hates clarkson as much as jonathan ross so he could also be in for some trouble...

I dont find Ross Noble funny at all to be honest and Brands even worse he was just total cringe on the MTV Awards.

This particular reference was used to comically exaggerate and make ridiculous an unfair urban myth about the world of lorry driving, and was not intended to cause offence."

couldn't this 'excuse' have been used for both Brand and Ross a few weeks ago!?!?! i'm sure once the other complaints rush in they'll u-turn on this too

clarkson will get away with it man, he's been doing it for years, top gear wouldn't be where it is now,or the bbc for that matter, if clarkson hadn't been stirring it up with his controversial patter

aye but clarkson was the instigator in controversial banter,so hes allowed to do it, hes had far worse complaints from politicians and higher figures over the years with his views on road laws and certain wanker politicians, and he's just brushed it off and moved onto the next topic to rip the piss out of, this will no doubt happen again

i think they have to nip it in the bud to be honest, if they sack clarkson the public will just think they can complain and have people sacked at will - then the pc brigade will basically take over

It was in the paper yesterday that russel brand is bashing out a deal with hollywood that could net him £5 Million and shoot him straight pnto the hollywood celeb A list. They want him to play jonathan (funnily enough) who is the younger brother of Jack sparrow in pirates of the carribean 4. They want him to star along side jonny depp and keith richards.

No wonder he quit his radio show ! !

I woud'nt class it as much of a punishment if he gets the role though
