what a load of cod shit that statement is, did you ever see keanes challenges?his attitude on the pitch, off the pitch, his tantrems, chip on the shoulder, world against him and all that bollocks, shearer was a model professional who never in the right mind go out purposely to end another persons career, keane was the biggest cunt this country has ever seen in football theres no two ways about it, even worse than cantona. He was a World class footballer aswell though, but the way he went on tarnished that. Search youtube for some of keanes challenges, then come back and say shearer was worse than keane, i very much doubt it
Sorry will but Shearer was a total cunt. His elbows flew all over and he got away with it and you cant say he's not a cunt after the Lennon incident? Roy Keane was worse but Shearer was a total nob. He got away with it because he was the jewel of English football and the darling of the media. It not quite the same but Gerrard took over his mantel in the press and for England and he gets away with being a diving hyprocrital twat. Nobody is denying all 3 were and are fantastic footballers but they re all cunts.
Re: Roy Keane That's exactly the kind of attitude you expect from a Newcastle fan. Lose a few games and it's "sacked the manager" or "sack the board". LOLALOT There's 2 points between us (and yous) and 10th position. I'd hardly say either team are fucked at the minute.
he was a centre forward, what do you expect him to do to challenge and win a high ball, a sergeant jump? it was hardly malicious or any brutal intent there, shearer used to get wiped out and wrestled all over the shop by defenders more often than not, he was entitled to give as good as he got to be fair. It had nothing to do with getting away with it, it was part and parcel of the game and referees used to understand that, they also used to understand that you can't leave the pitch with both feet and tackle a player with a stud to the knee, which was a trademark of a certain player going by the name of roy keane
Used to think he was a cockend too, although a bloody good player. Was gutted when the toon signed him as i thought he was a loose canon, which he was and has proved to be. However in a recent interview i read he seems to have sorted his head out and decided to keep himself in check. Everyone deserves a second chance but only time will tell if he has or not.
On a more important note he's startin to hit some form and his fitness is getting better and better, way i see it is he's paid to do a job and now he's starting to do his job so no complaints from me.
i havent a clue about bookies and that like, does that mean the bookies think he will leave or wont leave? im assuming its the first one?
He's going to make mistakes, he's new to management. He's a knob but he's got the type of attitude to be a great manager imo.
it would be shite if he did walk out, beause he knows that leaving us managerless when were in a possition such as thiis can mean relegation and after the support he has had off the board, its basically a slap in the face, and i cant see quinny getting rid of a manager such as keane when we're where we are, it would only make things worse
As soon as the rumours get going ppl head to the bookies nd back it to happen. When they recieve alot of bets on the same thing in a short amount of time they suspend the betting and look into it incase theres been any inside info leaked. Same with horses, dogs etc.
Ruled his career with an iron fist. The length of time I've followed him never have I seen him in the papers for bad press or his antics, true role model. Yes he spat his dummy now & again but I dont know a premiership player that doesn't? He could have went to ManU that summer of 96 & won everything, the legacy he's won at Newcastle I doubt any Cup could compare to.
