linksys is shit signal, netgears been alright but i've seen loads of belkins work spot on - budget all the way
My netgear is fine with my 360 (wired), wii (wireless) and PS3 (Wireless) which are all in the same room as the router but the connection drops now and again on my pc which is upstairs
Agreed, never liked the netgear's myself, the interface is shite and easily hackable via the telnet interface which can be turned on and off remotely ( not that i've ever done it ) just make sure your wi-fi encryption is set correctly, not that any of this is fully secure belive me. Also agree with Phil, Man of Science, wouldn't choose linksys either. I've used the various offerings from Belkin and they're not bad but I swear by the 2-wire gateway boxes. BT rebrand them as the Homehub with wireless and fusion but you can re-flash them with the oem firmware and change all sorts of settings like wi-fi strength - i can get all the way out into the back garden with my laptop and surf in the sunshine (router is at the front of the house - signal passes through 3 internal walls and outside wall)
My netgear works beautifully with a PC/Laptop & X box live all at the same time. That's on 20 meg like, but for free i aint complaining
