I wasn't bothered who won it cos i like both boxers, but aye Hatton got torn apart by Mayweathers classy boxing, Hatton showed heart but just lacked any variation in his attack.

he fuckin chased it alright!!! i think Mayweather could of went another 10 rounds. He was taking it and giving much better. I was suprised to see the rounds level at 3 each in the 6th too.

aye mayweather outboxed him like, if hatton could have landed a few more decent ones things would have been different i reckon but as it was mayweather was techncally better and chose his moments well

He done himself proud against a much classier fighter, Hattons got nothing to be ashamed of, Mayweather overacting when Hatton got the point deducted was shameful and was the moment Hatton lost it as he was holding his own till that point.

Hatton is going on about a re-match, im sorry but i don't care if mayweather drops to light welterweight the outcome will be exactly the same, hattons only got one way of boxing and mayweather worked that out straight away lol.

Yeah a re-match would be silly so would him trying to fight de la hoya, I think he should go for witter or Paulie Malignaggi

    Spot on.

Personally i think Mallignaggi is the fight he should go for - the states is where it matters, over there Witter wont sell tickets or hit big ppv numbers. A fight with Malignaggi will completely pack out Madison Square Garden, give Hatton a huge payday and put his name back into the limelight, should he win convincly. It will be more of a spectacle as well. Witter will give Hatton a lot of trouble even if he wins which wont really help Ricky in the future. Can you really see the Americans being that interested in a fight over here with a name they barely know and especially if Hatton cant do a good job!? They are both world title fights but Malignaggi makes more sense!

A Mayweather rematch is ridiculous. At light welter the same will happen. People were going on about it being a bad match up for Mayweather but its the opposite.
