ok as soon as the missus got home on friday before i was allowed to goto dave clarke i had to take her to see revolutions.

the verdict without giving anything away: ;)

    umm.. very disspointing.

too many cheesey one-liners, and the fact it felt like i was watching a cartoon using human actors all made for quite an dull experience.

also due to the fact the films purpose was to answer questions rather than to pose any new ones i found myself almost forgetting about it as soon as i left the cinema.

I thought it was good Chris mate, fair enough it was a bit cheesy but I suppose it had to be. I didnt like the ending tho, it could have been loads better.
The fight scene in Zion was amazing tho:)

I thought it was pretty poor.

    Not enough kung-fu!

    Reloaded was better.

errr... the films purpose surely was to make a shit load of money and to get joe p to come back for more by leaving as much open to the imagination as possible?

They could have shortened the final fight scene and concentrated a bit more on the actual story. They left too many gaps in the storyline:)

i guess i just don't like films with nice & comfortable endings, i like to walk away confused, thinking about them or at least care about what happens next something i didn't do after seeing revolutions.

the BIGGEST thing that pissed me off was their 'get out' clause. Everytime a serious question was asked, the standard response went like this :

Neo : "How did i get my powers outside the matrix?"
Oracle : "I think you know the answer to that"

    OR

Neo : "SO *insert important question* ?"
Oracle : " I think you know that answer OR you tell me, Neo"

    JUST ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTIONS!!!

That is a class scene like Rob, I thought the fight in Zion is equally as good in Revolutions tho:)
I love the part on the car chase where the 2 trucks hit each other tho:)

Just watched Reloaded again the other day and enjoyed it much more that the first time at the pics. Revolutions falls way short of the first two.

Agent Smith steals the show yet again in Revolutions. Hugo Weaving is superb as Smith and has firmly established the character as an indelible and memorable genre villain. Smith's scene with the Oracle is tense and chilling and that laugh is just an insane blend of hysterical creepiness.
