yes cos we ended up being the worst team ever in the Premiership with HIS players, in shit loads of debt, back in the First division where we were when he took over, had to sell nearly every player. I will never forget wot that season was like, week in week out it was fooking horrible and it was his fault so sorry he can fuck off if hes getting any praise of me.
wots your point? bit hard to do anything when 35 million in debt and having to sell all your players you numpty!
wot 35 million pound in debt and having to sell your whole first team hahahaha you really are a numpty arent u.
come up with sum real reasons to back your argument up, how can you compare when Peter Reid took over to when MM took over? really seriously sum good reasons. we werent 35 million in debt, we werent just relegated, Reidy didnt have to sell his first team, we played at Roker Park!
financial mismanagement is down to your chairman, not the manager. The manager recommends players, it is the chairman who negotiates the price - and he wasn't particularly good at it
Bob Murray is trying to buy Sunderland back @ 31p a share, not bad going for Bob considering he sold the shares for £5.85
remembering sum1 only for the bad they have done is bad crack like!!! the bloke done a FANTASTIC job for us to start with......couldnt av asked for more! granted it went pear shaped near the end...his fault? the players' fault? board? who knows really......
Total bollocks in my opinion i dont see how somebody who never attended any of the games under Reid can have more of an understanding of what went on than somebody who did
Reid His Premiership success at Sunderland was based around the goals of Kevin Phillips, who found superb form for two seasons. As soon as Phillips lost form, Sunderland were knackered. I think most managers could have done what Reid did at Sunderland in the same circumstances. He brought nothing to Leeds and even less to Coventry. He's just not very good.
cos some people have a better understanding of football and tactics than others ever will That's why they have managers giving expert analysis at half-time on tv instead of season-ticket holders
